Jampa + Jen on the Oregon coast
Jennifer graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. She currently works at Vetiver Acupuncture + Wellness in Portland, Oregon.
Originally from the midwest, her interest in Chinese Medicine came from her father who introduced her to meditation at a young age. Her continuous interest in Buddhism, Taoism, and the human body led her to becoming an acupuncturist. She graduated from Sierra Nevada College in Lake Tahoe with a BA in Ski Business & Resort Management, focusing on her active lifestyle in the mountains and worked in the Ski industry for several years before committing to her passion in healthcare full time. While working at Squaw Valley Ski Resort, she interned with two wonderful doctors of Chinese Medicine who focused on an array of different ailments. The success and improvement she observed in their patients inspired her to pursue a career in Chinese Medicine.
Jennifer’s treatments include acupuncture and may include one or more of the following modalities: electro-stim, cupping, moxa therapy, infrared heat therapy, and herbal formulas. Her focus is treating musculo-skeletal pain and dysfunction (low back pain, neck, work related back and shoulder pain, numbness/tingling nerve syndromes, bursitis, arthritis,etc) migraines, headaches, stress related health issues, woman's health (fertility, PMS, hormone regulation, menopausal symptoms, acne).
